MABU ("we", "us", "our") operates the MABU mobile app, a marketplace that lets users post, browse, and message about classified listings. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore database, Firebase Storage for photos, and Firebase Authentication), infrastructure operated by Google with industry-standard security. Access to your data is restricted by security rules that limit what any user or process can read or write. We do not sell your personal information to third parties or advertisers.
When you post a listing or start a chat, your display name and/or phone number become visible to the other user involved, so they can get in touch with you about that listing — this is necessary for the marketplace to function. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We retain your account and listing data for as long as your account remains active. If you request deletion (see below), we remove your account data within a reasonable time.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing Puridipanshu82@gmail.com from the email or phone number associated with your account. We will process deletion requests promptly, typically within 30 days.
MABU is not directed at children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the helpline above so we can remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Effective date" at the top of this page.
